I can't start OpenSim

Post by Bruno Picasso » Thu Feb 06, 2014 7:19 am

Hello, I successfully downloaded version 3.1 64 bit on a HP envy PC with Windows 7. When I try to launch the programme I got this message : "Required library failed to load.Check that the dynamic library osimJavaJNI is in your PATH" "Java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:OpenSim 3.1_64\bin\osimJavaJNI.dll %1 it is not a valid Win32 application.
I have tried to insert the Java library in the PATH manually and run the vcredist_x64 without success.
Could anyone help ?

Hi Bruno,
Without knowing what kind of platform you have (64 bit OS?), I would suggest running the 32 bit installer as it is more robust.

Let us know if that helps,

Dear James,

sorry for waiting such a long time. I successfully loaded 3.2 version for Windows 32 bit. That worked fine on all examples and tutorials. It apears that one has to uninstall all previous versions before loading a new one. Thank you for your kind help.
