Static Optimization results

Post by Joe Prinold » Mon Apr 07, 2014 9:43 am

I have a musculoskeletal model of the shank and foot. When I load the motion file (included below - attachment of files is not allowed by the forum system) the model performs pronation. However, when I run the Static Optimization tool selecting that same motion, the result is the whole model rotates around the vertical shank to ground axis (zShank_To_Ground axis) instead of the pronation motion.

I have attempted renaming the rotation axes, reordering the rotations and including additional actuators (reserve actuators at all joints) but none of these has made any difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. As I have said the forum won't allow me to upload files, but I could paste them in as text if that is useful.

Joe
