toes shaking during CMC

Post by Mahdi Hassan » Sat May 30, 2015 9:13 am

Hi!

I am using gait2392 model for human rolling simulation. I want to know muscle power. In this regard, I am using CMC. During the CMC simulation, every thing looks good except toes. toes are shaking. Could any one please tell me what is the problem?

Thanks
Neshu

Neshu,

For CMC analysis with the gait2392 model, it is advised to lock the subtalar and mtp joints, as I have heard that there are not enough muscles to properly control them in the model. I have had the same issues and locking those joints greatly improved my results. You will also probably have to delete the tracking tasks for the subtalar and mtp joints in the CMC_Tasks.xml, as CMC will not run if you are trying to track locked joints. Hope that helps.
