OpenSim with Windows 10

Post by Colin Smith » Wed Aug 05, 2015 3:56 am

Hi all,

I'm considering upgrading a windows 8 computer to windows 10, but want to make sure OpenSim will still work. Has anyone tested OpenSim on windows 10?

On windows 8 I still have a problem with viewing wrapping surfaces:

So it is not the end of the world if there are small glitches when working with windows 10.

Thanks,
Colin

Great,

Thanks Vishal for the update. Can you post some info about your system for future reference (e.g. 32/64, touchscreen, etc.) and your mode of operation (GUI, API, Matlab-scripting).

All the best,
-Ayman

Hi Ayman,

Sure, I use Opensim 3.3 in Windows 10 Pro 64 bit operating system installed in my laptop (no touch-screen feature). I have been using GUI and Matlab-scripting modes of Opensim. I have faced no problems yet. :)

Regards,
Vishal
