contribution of joint moments to centre of mass acceleration

Post by Philippe Dixon » Tue Sep 22, 2015 12:23 pm

Hi,

I want to determine the contribution of lower-limb joint moments to centre of mass acceleration using the induced acceleration tool. I know how to determine the muscle contributions, but not the net joint effects. Would I have to change the model to have zero muscle force and depend entirely on the reserve joint actuators? Any guidance on how to set up the analysis would be appreciated.

Best Wishes,

Phil

Hi Phil,

Looks like the induced acceleration solver can do the analysis with any force.

You could run a simulation just using torque actuators through RRA and use just these generalized forces in the analysis

cheers,
