Controls in forward simulations

Post by Ko Sasaki » Fri Apr 15, 2016 2:20 pm

Hi,
I would like to run forward simulations using CMC-solved muscle control signals with additional actuators (e.g., path actuators), and see how the control signals of the path actuators influence the resultant kinematics.
To run forward, I add those path actuator control signals to the CMC-solved control signals (i.e., add a few more columns to **_controls.sto with the same number of rows). It runs, but modifying the path actuator control signal in the sto or xml file using Excitation Editor is a little pain, because 1) CMC time stamp (delta t) varies, and 2) typically there are many control nodes in CMC muscle controls.
Is there a way to include control signals (in sto or xml form) independently from muscle control signals in Forward?
Thank you.
Ko
