osim documentation

Post by henry sun » Sun Feb 01, 2009 3:00 pm

Hi,

We are trying to do Inverse Kinematics analysis based on the Examples arm26 model by adding another 90 degrees rotation of the arm about the shoulder-joint in the global Z axis. Which part of the model file arm26.osim should be chnaged and where the rotation angle should be added in ? Can we use the existing XML input files ?

It is greatly appreciated that anyone could give some advice on it.

Regards,

Henry

Hi Henry,

We did put a short document explaining basic model editing in an osim file on the project Wiki at
http://wiki.simtk.org/opensim/

Hope this helps,
-Ayman
