Hi,
I created a .mot file for ball grasp activity and obtained the net forces and torques of the joint. Now I need to obtain the forces of tendons associated with the motion.Any possible solution would be of great help.

Re: Solution for ball grasp
Thanks a lot sir.Now I am able to obtain individual tendon forces.
I have a couple of questions if you could kindly answer
I uploaded the .mot file that I created using analyze tool and through force reporter i got forces exerted by tendons.Through static optimization I got tendon force values by uploading my .mot file I created .Among these two (analyze tool and static optimization) which one I should follow sir. Also I am uploading the motion file i created. In this file data are given in such a way that a finger grasps the ball in the hand.Possible solutions for the above query sir would be of great help.

Re: Solution for ball grasp
They are identical if your setup is the same. Use Static Optimization.

Thank you sir.It helped a lot.
The force value of EDCM tendon (maximum 39 N ) obtained through static optimization varies largely with the graph generated through plot (close to 300 N) which I did between active fiber force and .mot file which contains the angle.Could you kindly help me out in comprehending this difference.

Could you mention what you meant by setup here. All I have is motion file that I created.mitkof6 wrote:They are identical if your setup is the same. Use Static Optimization.
Also is there any relation to convert muscle excitation voltage to angle ?.

Re: Solution for ball grasp
You used two tools. If you setup the tools correctly their results should be identical. There are some extra options in the AnalysisTool that you should be careful, e.g. step_interval.
