Hi,
I have read in several sources, that by using SimTrack, one can generate dynamic simulations of movement from motion capture data.
May I ask where SimTrack resides in OpenSim? I can see this plugin installed, but I can't find any guide on how to invoke and use SimTrack. Also, is StimTrack the only way to use mocap data in OpenSim?
Any advice please?
Thanks
George

Re: Mocap data to mot files? (SimTrack?)
I believe "SimTrack" was a term used to describe an OpenSim workflow consisting of what are now called Tools. Please see the "Tools for Preparing Motion Data" page on Confluence (http://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:80 ... otion+Data) for preprocessing utilities. The capability to read .c3d files is built into OpenSim 4.0, which is currently under alpha testing; please see the GitHub project (https://github.com/opensim-org/opensim-core) for details.

Re: Mocap data to mot files? (SimTrack?)
Thank you Tom
I went through the Tools, but unfortunately, none of those actually runs properly. Sometimes there isn't any info regarding Matlab version (several Matlab errors occur), or a readme file to guide you on how to perform the operation.
Is there someone who tried those tools recently, using Matlab 2015 or later please?
Thanks
George
