Ground Stiffness

Post by Nafiseh Ebrahimi » Sun Feb 19, 2017 10:06 am

Hello everyone.
Is it possible to change the stiffness of the ground in simulation with Opensim? Apparently, its stiffness is not included in properties of Ground body in the Navigator.

Thank you.

The Ground body does not inherently apply forces to the model; you need to add contact geometry explicitly (e.g., to the foot and ground bodies). See the "Dynamic Walking Challenge" page on Confluence (http://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu:80 ... Id=5113821) for an example.
