Error loading Model

Post by Vishal R » Thu Nov 15, 2018 4:05 am

I have been using the OpenSim 4 beta version and the osim files were generated as

Code: Select all

<OpenSimDocument Version="30516">
as a result of it.

Now, I downloaded the latest release of OpenSim4 and am not able to load the files generated by opensim4 beta. It gives me the following error:

Please let me know how to fix this. I saw the diff and there are few changes in the tag names and reference to frames. :?:

Probably keep the Upgrade Notes page book marked for a while since there are bunch of changes, even since the Beta. This section of the Upgrade Notes page has the information you are after
If you saved a model file using the beta version of OpenSim 4.0 from August 2018, the model will not work in the released version of OpenSim 4.0. You can fix this by using the function updateSocketConnecteesBySearch() in the GUI Scripting Shell, Python, Matlab, or C++
