OpenSim Linux version

Post by luis ortiz » Thu Feb 14, 2019 2:02 pm

Dear OpenSim developers.

We want to use Opensim in a supercomputer in our university to optimize processing time. We want to know if OpenSim is available to download in a Linux version for Debian 8 system.

Thank you for your attention.

Luis Ortiz.

No, there is not a pre-build version on Linux. However, OpenSim can be built from source code. Please follow the instructions (README.md) on github for v4.0:

https://github.com/opensim-org/opensim-core/tree/4.0

and if you encounter a problem let us know so we can help you.

Thanks, Dimitar
We are currently trying to compile the program in Linux. Any questions that arise we will bother you again.
