questions concerning KU Leuven foot model and CMC in model with ligaments

Post by Julia Gregorowicz » Sat Mar 16, 2019 9:58 am

Hello,
I would like to do my master's thesis based on simulation in OpenSim. My previous thesis was about 'foot modeling in clinical applications'. I have used standard foot model from gait2392.osim from OpenSim library and I have used markerset Oxford Foot Model. Now I am planning to use more complicateg model- Ku Leuven which consists of five rigid segments. Unfortunately I have some problems with static optimization or CMC. The model is shared but no input files are available. Is there anyone who used this foot model for simulation? My biggest concern is how to treat ligaments that are included in the model and should i treat intrisic foot muscles differently compared to standard gait2392 muscles in CMC setting files?
Best regards and thank you very much in advance.
