Adding external torque

Post by Nithin Kurup » Thu Dec 07, 2017 1:40 am

Hi,

I am trying to model an orthosis, attached to the upper limb. This othosis provides compensatory torque to support say a shoulder elevation movement.I am not sure how to add these torque values to the simulation. I have a list of torque values and the corresponding elevation angle values from the experiment. Do I have to use a coordinate actuator for this, if so is it possible to provide array of torque and angles as input?

Thanks and regards,

Nithin

Hi Nithin,

did you solve your problem or did someone give you a hint to solve it? We are now working on the same issue and don't know how to realize it.

Thank you very much!
Brid
