Scaled model looks like an alien

Post by dani mendez » Mon Jun 17, 2019 9:06 am

Hello,
I'm using the "upper lower body" model to do a series of tests.
I have added a series of markers to the model,

and when scaling it completely deforms the body.

However, if I use the "rajagopal2015" model, the scaling does it correctly.

Does anyone know why it happens?

Thank you

This question has already been asked and answered here (topic 6129): viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=91&t=6129. (Also: how do you know what an alien looks like? :shock:)

Thanks for the response, it has been very useful. Although I had to do the scaling with version 3.3 of opensim, with version 4.0 it did not work for me

Now when making the inverse kinematics fails and the following link appears:

InverseKinematicsTool Failed: AssemblySolver::assemble() Failed: SimTK Exception thrown at Assembler.cpp:871:
Method Assembler::assemble() failed because:
Optimizer failed with message: SimTK Exception thrown at InteriorPointOptimizer.cpp:261:
Optimizer failed: Ipopt: Maximum iterations exceeded (status -1)
Assembly error tolerance achieved: 0.00391609566089032 required: 1e-006.

Does anyone know why?
