path spring

Hi, I have a doubt.
path spring works like a tension or compression spring?

I need the spring to work on traction.
Thank you

The path spring generates force only when its length is greater than its resting length. Please see the documentation for the PathSpring class here: https://simtk.org/api_docs/opensim/api_ ... ml#details.
