CMC - unexpected thorax behavior

Post by Kristy Godoy » Fri Feb 28, 2020 1:43 pm

Hello,
I'm using OpenSim 3.3 on a Windows machine.
Model: MoBL_ARMS_module6_7_CMC_.osim modified (attached)

I'm trying tu run CMC with reaction forces placed at the mass center of the hand (.mot file attached).

My problem is that during the process of the CMC, thorax is moving and the hand seems to be locked.
I don't really understand why is this happening.
My experimental data come from a person moving forward in a wheelchair. The forces are from the interface hand - wheel rim.

For the CMC tool I'm providing the setup that comes with the model, my motion file from the IK tool, my forces file as external loads, and the CMC_task and CMC_controlconstrains modified to match the model.

I don't know if I'm missing something in the task file or in the control one.
I'm not an expert in programming, after reading the documentation and studying the existing files for this model and others, I more or less understand how to edit the files but I'm lost in this one.

I tried to find a solution in old posts but didn't find anything.

I also have a question about a warning displayed during CMC:
WARN- a desired points file was not specified.
What is that points file it refers to?

I also attached the messages the GUI displayed (scaling, cmc).

Thanks in advance for any help
