Model not moving when running inverse kinematics

Post by Yuqi Liu » Sat Jan 09, 2021 8:21 am

Hello!

This is my first time using OpenSim and I'm trying to model joint angles of the fingers using IK. We have sensors tracking hand position on the wrist and finger joints when the participant reached and grasped different objects. We are using this modified wrist model to run IK: https://simtk.org/projects/moving-fingers

I first added virtual markers to the model based on our experimental markers, then ran scaling. Then I proceeded with IK. However, after I clicked "Run" in the IK tool window, the process was finished within 1-sec when our trial lasted for 4-sec, and the model did not move at all. Does anyone know what might be the reason?

Thank you!
Yuqi
