Scaling, Scale Marker Set and coordinates

Post by Radhakrishnan Vignesh » Tue Oct 19, 2021 2:44 pm

Hello,

Thank you for your support. I have three questions regarding the scaling pipeline.

1) Is there a way of automatically creating the scale markerSet file? If not, what do the coordinates on the Scale markerset(example Gait2345) provided by OpenSim relate to? How do we set the markers used for scaling through just the XML file since, from the tutorials, scaling markers are not supposed to be adjusted?

2) Is there a way to adjust the markers used for scaling in an iterative process rather than hit and trial?

3) I am collecting purely lower limb data. While I adjust the coordinates of the data to match openSim, my upperbody is neither being scaled nor is it in the same plane as the lower body. I have attached pictures. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
