Hi at all,
In my study, participants walked in special shoes with thick soles in laboratory. When scaling in OpenSim, I give higher weight to knee, ankle and pelvic markers. the result is bad and experimental and virtual markers are too far apart finally.
How can I improve my scaling?

Thanks for any help,

Re: Scale problem
Hello,
Please make sure the model can translate forward before doing scaling since otherwise the model can't match anatomical markers and the scaling results will be bad. Also keep in mind that visualization of markers is informative to assess scaling, but bones are just decorations and are not used.
Hope this helps,
-Ayman
