Model Loading Issues

Post by Dom Willmore » Mon Feb 07, 2022 11:41 am

Hi,

I am using a DESKTOP - G1RE2QK with a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor and have installed, unistalled and re-installent OpenSim many times, each time encountering a different issue. I am using Windows10 with OpenSim4.3. Currently, I am unable to load models, more specifically 'Tutorial 1'.
The first attached image is the display I am met with when loading up OpenSim (notice how there is no text or any links on the right-hand side).

The second attached image is the screen I am presented when following the instructions for Tutorial 1 and the model fails to load. Note: I copied all of the documents in the 'Geometry' file to the 'Gait2392_Simbody' folder as otherwise OpenSim is unable to find the components.

The third attached image is the 'Tutorial 1' folder directory so it is clear what I meant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I require OpenSim for my thesis project so would like to get this issue resolved as quick as possible.
Thank you in advance,

Dom

Dear Dom,

I'm not an expert of OpenSim and I can't see what the Messages window said, but I think that your model is loaded. You can see it clicking "Window" Button --> "Visualizer"
Hope It helps, kindly,

Alessia Giordan
