Joint Raections and GRFs

Post by Adriana Jorge » Thu Apr 28, 2022 7:20 am

Hi,

I'm performing a joint reaction analysis using OpenSim 4.1 using a model I addapetd from Rajagopal, for a change of direction motion, in order to obtain joint reaction forces and moments on the knee and ankle joints. I've done the scaling, the inverse kinematics, inverse dynamics, the static optimization (with reserve actuators) and everyhting up to this point seems to make sense. However, the forces outputed by the JRA are gigantic and don't make any sense. I've ran the JRA without providing a GRF file, to see if anything changed, but the outcome was almost the same. Does anyone have an ideia what might be happening?

Thank you very much,
Adriana
