clamped coordinates

Post by Anne Schmitz » Mon Jun 07, 2010 9:10 am

I can run forward dynamics on a model with made up EMG signals. However, the motion can go past physiological limits. Is the forward dynamics supposed to comply with clamped coordinates and not go beyond the bounds?

Thanks,

Anne

Hi Anne,

Locking and Prescribing both work because they create a corresponding SimTK::Constraint to enforce them during simulation. Clamping on the other hand is not enforced at the dynamics level.
