Post by Nastaran Taefi Aghdam » Wed Aug 31, 2022 10:26 am

Hi everyone,

We are using X-sens sensors to collect data, to have accurate results I need to Scale the model.
I wanted to ask if Xsens data could be used to scale my model.

Best regards,
Nastaran

Hello,

IMUs generally provide only rotational information and no positional information as such you need use some other mechanisms to obtain a measure of the size/scale. I hope members of the community can chime in if there's something specific to XSens that can be leveraged in this regard, or what they found to work reasonably well.

Hope this helps,
-Ayman
