loading model does not work

hy everybody,
after installing opensim on windows 7 with appropriate java jre6 32 bit download and the needed correction in the "etc" file the GUI opens op ok. But when I try to load a model great red balls come on the view window instead a of a nice model.I can rotate, translate these balls with the mouse and use the icons on the side of the view window.
Who can help me?
