Can Lower Extremities model be modified to include knee rotation?

Can Lower Extremities model be modified to include knee rotation?

Hello. I am currently working on the lower extremities model from OpenSim to process some rock climbing data. This model only evaluate knee flexion but I need to evaluate also knee rotation. While seeing the code for the model it appears to be a knee rotation part but it is not activated. Does someone know how to activate it to be able to evaluate and graph data o knee rotation? Or is there a lower limb model that have rotation?

Hi, defining additional coordinates for knee joint would be fine for a torque-driven simulation. In Muscle-driven simulations, however, it is not recommended. Here you can find an example of a model with 3 DoF knee joint:
