Problem with model pose after scaling

Post by Rahmatullah Safdar » Thu May 04, 2023 9:14 pm

Hello Dear OpenSim Team and Users !!

I'm trying to scale model and every time I try to scale it, the model moves to another pose. It moves away from both model and experimental markers.

Markers are place on model accurately as were places on the subjects, and static trc file is accurate too. Instead of moving the model markers to match the experimental marker position (static.trc) the model moves to another pose.

The model on the left is the original model before scaling, and the right one is after scaling and association of static.trc data.

What should I do now to deal with this problem?
Please enlighten me in this regards.

Looking forward your reply.

Regards.

Rahmat

Hi, the problem might be in the "Static Pose Weights" pane. Troubleshooting would be much easier if you could provide the files.
