Inconsistency between the results of the static optimization analysis and the theoretical analysis

Post by Jiahao Zhou » Sun May 07, 2023 8:04 pm

Hi,
I would like to ask a question about static optimization. I have built a model (shown below) with two muscles, two masses and two PinJoints for connection. I want to analyze the static mechanics of this model by setting the joint coordinates to 0 at each moment in the motion data file and then perform a static optimization analysis. However, the output of the static optimization analysis does not match the theoretical results of the static analysis. I also tried replacing the muscles with the PointActuators and the final forces were consistent with the theoretical analysis. Could you help me to solve this puzzle?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Jiahao Zhou
