Apply constant torque force

Post by Carlos Gonçalves » Fri Sep 01, 2023 6:05 am

Hello everyone.

We are currently working on a simulation of trike pedalling. So far the model looks good and we are able to do forward and inverse simulation without loads in the gear (only body inertia).

We need to add a constant torque to the gear body but we are without enough references on how to do it with the PrescribedForce class. Any information on that? We have been editing the .XML directly until now.

We figured out that we could create a .mot file with constant values and use it in the optimization, like SO. That would also work? Taking from the examples in gait, we should add the torque to the gear body?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards.
