Static optimization problem

Post by Emma Martí » Thu Sep 21, 2023 2:02 am

Hello OpenSim team,

I'm working on the analysis of ACL reaction while performing COD and Drup jump movements. For it, i used a model that simulates ACL ligament as a muscle without contraction ability. Now, I'm performing Static Optimization analysis and the error on the screenshoot shows up. I have run over the .osim code but i haven't detected any of the possible errors it proposes.

I would thank a lot a recommendation of how could i proceed

Thank you very much,
Emma

Hi, I'm no expert, but I'm not sure this would be a correct way of simulating ACL. Is there any reference on it? OpenSim muscles classes do take fiber properties into account. You can find several projects related to ACL on the SimTK, e.g.:
