NaN force data in .mot file after using c3dExport code

Post by Claudia Ghidini » Tue Apr 30, 2024 6:32 am

Hello!

I am using the code c3d export provided in the Opensim utilities to rotate my c3d file and generate trc and mot compatible with opensim. I am encountering a problem though as it seems during the swing phase of the gait cycle the COP and moments values become NaN. In my original c3d file I have all the values.

How can I solve this issue? It seems other people encountered it but I could not find any solution.

Thanks so much!!

Hi! Force plate data is not always valid when the foot is not in contact with it, so I used a text editor and replaced NaNs with zeros!
