What can I do with OPENSIM

If we use a standart musculoskeletal model, and make inverse dynamic, we could get forces that cause movement measurements. I want to know if I can modify or add new forces and then make direct dynamics for getting the new positions, velocities and acelerations.

Is it possible with Opensim????

Dear Andres,

Actually the mailing list for users is located here:
https://simtk.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=282

You might be able to get faster response there as it's read by many more users than this list.

In the meantime, to answer your question, the ForwardDynamics tool allows you to add arbitrary forces to your model and integrate forward, you may either add the forces to the tool (Append Forces) or to the Model itself by editing the model's osim file. I'd recommend you read the user guide chapter on ForwardDynamics to see how that works and please let us know if you have any questions.

All the best,
-Ayman
