Local coordinate systems

Post by Travis Peterson » Fri Feb 04, 2011 5:52 pm

Hi,

Just wondering if it is possible to display the positions of the "local coordinate systems" of each body in the OpenSim GUI, similar to the global x-y-z coordinate axes available? Or if not, is there an easy way to determine the origins of each coordinate system (with respect to the global frame, or somewhat visually on the bones) in either the GUI or the source code .xml file?

Thanks,
Travis

Hi Travis,

You can always create a new marker, and move it by clicking and dragging to align with any point of interest in the model.

Hope this helps,
