Muscle Editor-Wrapping

Post by Luke Burley » Fri Jun 10, 2011 9:41 am

Hello,

I have been looking at muscle transfers and am interested in the wrapping function of the muscle editor. For now, when I perform a transfer I merely disable the current "wraps" and move the muscle. The muscle, then, intersects with the bone(ie, Humerus). However, I would like to redefine a new "wrap", to more accurately handle the kinematics of the transfer, and am unsure how to do this.

Can anyone provide an explanation or some publications that would help me to understand how the "wrapping" is defined so that I can do this?

Thanks,

-Luke

I have been able to use some of the current "wraps" to define my transfers better. However I still have trouble with some of the muscles incorrectly solving the contact with certain bodies(ie, the Scapula). Is there a way to edit the XML data to define new bodies to wrap or possibly an interactive editor?
