xml file for markers

I am having an issue with scaling the markers. I have my static trc files, but I do not have any xml file. I have watched all of the scaling tutorials which have not helped. I am trying to use the edit measurements to add them in without using any xml file.

Edit measurements will not allow me to select any locations for the markers. Meaning when I enter the edit measurements tab, I am not able to put anything into the two pink areas. How do I solve this issue?

I cannot run my model because no markers exist.

I am trying to use the edit measurements to add them in without using any xml file.
The Edit Measurement Set function doesn't add markers: they need to be defined in the model file or in the ScaleMarkerSet.xml file. There's an example in your Resources folder here: <installation directory>\Resources\Models\Gait2354_Simbody\gait2354_Scale_MarkerSet.xml.

Is there a way to create an xml file from the data we have collected in a c3d? We do not have the specific measurements of location of markers. I have static and walking c3d files. If this is possible, is there a resource you could point me towards?

Thank you.

It sounds like you want to scale a model without any markers. That is not possible. You need to add markers to the model. For markers that define anatomical coordinate systems, the markers should be placed on the model in the same anatomical locations as on the human subject. Markers can be added and moved around in the GUI. Please see the "Marker Editor" page in the documentation: https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu/d ... ker+Editor.
