Inputting Static Optimization Results Into OpenSim

Post by Aaron Henry » Fri Mar 06, 2020 8:02 am

Hello,
I have recently run a static optimization on a spine model to determine muscle forces in the back for different loading conditions on the hands. I ran the static optimization in MatLab, and would like to input my resulting force files (.sto) into the OpenSim GUI to display the muscle tensions as the red gradient. Is there a way to input my results to display the muscle tensions? I have tried running the static optimization in the GUI, but the external loads are not being applied to the the model, only the position of the model is being taken into account.
Thanks,
Aaron

I was able to resolve the problem. I took the static optimization setup file from MatLab and loaded that into the Static Optimization tool in the GUI. However, I would like to display the force I have added to the model. Is there any way I can show a visual representation of the force in the GUI?
