Hello,
I newly downloaded opensim version 4.1 and loaded a model but it is incomplete like the image below..
I also tried it for other models to see if it fixes but it is the same. (And I'd better say that I didn't face this problem in the OpenSim 4.0 version, and after I uninstalled the previous version completely, I installed the new version 4.1)
how can I fix this problem ?
thank you,
Hamed

Re: opensim 4.1
Hello,
The issue is that the mesh files could not be located. How to set the search path in the application is described here

Hope this helps,

Hello,
How did you fix it? I have the same problem as you. And there are corresponding .vtp file in the geometry path.

Re: opensim 4.1
Dom,
There are 2 distinct issues that could be confused if wording is not clear or without screen capture :
1. Visualizer window don't show up at all: This is a low level issue that's related to the hardware/machine in use, possibly permissions related. These have been rare and proved difficult to resolve since we have limited hardware/software versions to test against.
2. Visualizer window opens and the model is loaded but only muscles are shown: This exhibits in the screen capture earlier on this trail (but not the screen capture you just sent), and can be resolved by setting the geometry search path as explained. The problem is not present in your case since you don't get message about missing .vtp files.
Please open an issue and attach the description of the hardware, Operating system and OpenSim version and we'll see what we can do.
Hope this helps,
-Ayman
