I am wondering what the actual version of OpenSim is? I only have access to v1.5.5 and can not find any v1.6 or v1.7. Are these unofficial releases?

Dear Nicolas,

There's a pre-release version of 1.7 that we've been testing internally for a while (and used in a workshop on campus) but we haven't published yet pending a couple bug-fixes.

I'll send email to the forum when it becomes public (hopefully very shortly).
