Hi there,
I want to get simulated IMU data at different positions based on the time history of motion capture data.I'd like to know is it possible to run forward kinematic in Opensim. I only find inverse kinematics and forward dynamics tools in the Opensim. Or is it possible to get linear acceleration from the inverse kinematics results?
Thanks

Hello Yanran,
You can perform a Body Kinematics or Point Kinematics analysis to determine some of the variables you mentioned if you have the time histories of your model's coordinates.
This post here should also help you: viewtopicPhpbb.php?f=91&t=10997&p=30490&start=0&view=
it explains how to create an accelerometer signal.
Hope that helps!
Kind regards,
