Saving Poses

Dear fellow Users,

i have a question concerning the poses: I defined different poses and now i want to save them for later. I looked through the Users guide and the Tutorials and i got the feeling, that the poses would be saved, if i saved the modell/ saved all. But if i do so and than reopen the modell, the poses are lost. Can anyone explain? Are the poses, as the motions, saved in a diffrent file?

Thanks in advance!
Best wishes

Please see the "Coordinate Controls and Poses" page in the documentation: https://simtk-confluence.stanford.edu/d ... +and+Poses.

The "Coordinate Controls and Poses" page does only explain how you can set a pose, make it default etc. But that's not the problem I have. I defined the poses, but they were lost after saving and reopening the model.

Thanks for clarifying. I don't think the poses defined in the GUI can be saved. However, the default pose is written to the model file, so if you want to open the model in a few poses, you could save copies of the model in those poses. Alternatively, you could write a GUI script that poses the model in one of various poses based on the user's input.
