How to create your own model

Post by Paul Chris » Fri Mar 26, 2021 9:23 am

Hello,
I'd like to ask you why the modified model file can't be opened in the GUI window after modifying the original bone model. No error will be reported, and no information will be prompted in the information bar. I hope I can give some suggestions on creating my own bone model.

Look forward to your reply!

Hello,

Can you post or share your modified model, or what you changed? We try to give informative error messages in the Messages window of the GUI, so we'd like to know if that can be improved. That said, bones are just mesh files used for visualization and if you have a typo in the file name or if the mesh can't be located then the model will be loaded but the bone will not show up. In this case you'll see a warning message in the messages window indicating that the mesh file couldn't be loaded.

Hope this helps,
-Ayman

Hello,

Thank you very much for your reply. I'll study the skeleton file again to find out the problem.

Hello,

When I was learning the skeleton file, I saw the code about knee custom joint. The file indicated that it was generalized coordinate function, but I still didn't understand the meaning of this section of X and Y data. Please explain it for me. Thank you very much
