Opensim scaling

Post by Carvell Teo » Thu Apr 22, 2021 1:14 am

Hi, I had done the conversion of the file in .trc and I going to do the scaling process. However, I just realise that my markers are not same to the model 2354. I think that need to create my own marker set. However, I stuck at the scale tool.

I would appreciate if anyone can advise me if my basic concept is wrong. Thank you

Hello,

The scaling step can use either manual scale factors or measurements between pairs of markers. For the latter, there should be markers on the model that match the names of the markers in the data file (e.g. trc file for the static pose). If the model has no such markers then you need to add them.

Hope this helps,
