Muscles Slow/Fast Twitch Ratios for Old Adults

Post by Morteza Khosrotabar » Tue Apr 27, 2021 6:10 pm

Hi everyone,
I'm doing some simulations on a dataset containing young and old adults gait data. I want to compute the metabolic rate based on Umberger2003/2010 model by adding metabolic probe. but I think (based on literate) that the muscles' slow/fast twitch ratios are not same for young and old subjects. I found one text file in the Opensim examples in "Gait10dof18musc" folder that represents the slow twitch ratios of muscles.
Do anyone knows about similar file for old adults muscles? or any suggestion to alter the default ratios?
thank you
