How to add Constraints to joint

Hello,
I have build a model in nmsBuilder and included a custom joint. I am trying to add constraints on joint using function editor but point are moving but curve is not following.
Is their any other way to do so?
Any guidance would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance.
