Moments for Inverse Dynamics

Post by Quinten Humphrey » Sat Jun 12, 2021 6:02 pm

Hello all, sorry for posting a lot.

I have started over on the full-body model I have been working on in order to fix previous errors. The main error I am coming to is when I run Inverse Dynamics. The results only provide the moments of the lower extremities while the upper extremities remain 0. I have looked into the needed files to perform the task but am not sure what should be looked at or changed. None of the files contain "Nan" so that rules out that possibility.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Quintin,

It's a bit hard to troubleshoot something like this based only on the description you provided. If you can upload a short movie/clip of the motion and describe the model/joints maybe we can help you out. Since you're creating the model yourself it's possible that the issue is with the model definition rather than with ID.

Best regards,
-Ayman
