Prescribed coordinate speed during optimization.

Post by Hojin Song » Thu Jul 01, 2021 4:37 pm

Hi,

I am working on the optimal control problem for predicting unmeasured motions and I came up with a couple of questions.

1) Is it possible to prescribe the speed of coordinates or at least make one relatively faster or slower than the other in OpenSim.

2) Is there any way that I can force stop the coordinates once it reaches its min/max limits? I used CoordinateLimitForce with high stiffness but it makes counter motions when it reaches its limit (e.g. a clockwise motion turns to an anti-clockwise motion after reaching the coordinates' upper/lower limits)

Please share any thoughts or ideas with me.

Many Thanks,
Hojin
