Finding a musculoskeletal model with detailed arm and neck muscles?

Post by João André » Wed Sep 08, 2021 2:15 pm

Hello,

I'm developing a framework to perform inverse dynamics using Moco through OpenSim C++ API.
However I am having a hard time finding a musculoskeletal model that fully fits the application requirements (detailed torso, neck, left and right arm muscular information).

For some reason, existing full-body musculoskeletal models available on the SimTk database either do not include arm or neck muscles. On the other hand, assembling a new model from different sources is not a trivial task, so I was wondering if there is any model that I'm not aware that could be used?

And particularly when assembling from different sources, are there relevant guidelies to follow, and what are the most common pitfalls one should avoid?
