BushingForce is too slow

Post by Alexandra Yurova » Fri Oct 08, 2021 1:37 am

Dear all,

i have 6DoF patellofemoral joint and try to make coordinates (translational and rotational) to change smoothly during prescribed motion.
I add BushingForce, but it works too slow, if the parameters for rotational_damping and translational_damping are greater, than one. Besides, the obtained motion files are too large and can not even be opened by Notepad. If these parameters are reduced, the function is not smooth.

How can one fix this?
Can one add some other elements to the model, to avoid jumps in function of coordinates versus time?

Regards,
Alexandra
