How to replace a part of an OpenSim model with clinical part

I am newbie to OpenSim. In order to learn how OpenSim works as first step, I am trying to replace the Ulna/Radius in WristModel with my clinical ones in *.obj or *.stl. In the process, I found that OpenSim needs careful preparation of clinical models of Ulna/Radius, such as orientation. Could you please provide some advices on what I should follow to prepare them to fit the WristModel?
