Marker weights for Rizzoli lower body marker set

Hello,
I'm trying to calculate ankle joint angles from mocap data using the Rizzoli lower body maker set (https://v22.wiki.optitrack.com/index.ph ... Markersets). I have tried to adjust the position of my virtual markers to better match experimental marker position before running the scaling step and to match the weightings used in OpenSim examples where possible but I'm still getting unrealistic angles for ankle sagittal plane angles. two questions to check my understanding:
1) is it correct procedure to iteratively manually adjust the position of the virtual markers on the generic model to help minimise the RMS marker error during the scaling process?
2) has anyone used the Rizzoli lower body marker set and can offer some suggestions about starting weights?
Thanks!
